Teachers and Students Won the First Prize in Youth Microfilm Competition of Hebei Province
Recently, the Youth microfilm (short video) competition of Hebei Province with the theme of “Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era around us” which was held by the Education Department of Hebei Province in 2020, come up with the results. Recommended to join the competition by the Publicity Department of the Party Committee, the Youth League Committee and the Art College of our university, the animation work A Story of Chasing Dream won the first prize of the animation group after selected through the layers, recommendation, examination and evaluation, and it also awarded of the best director, the best creativity, the excellent instructor and other awards.
Created with combination of Chinese traditional water-ink paintings and modern digital technology, A Story of Chasing Dream shows the brilliant achievements of China since the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The stories are set in the Silk Road, the famous paintings A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains and Silk Road Landscape, and are full of elements reflecting China’s development, such as C919, Jiaolong and Tianyan, taking the outstanding representatives in the field of science and technology after the 19th National Congress of the CPC. Through the unique artistic processing, we can more intuitively express the spiritual strength since the 19th National Congress of CPC of China., stimulates the majority of young people to establish cultural confidence and realize the great “Chinese dream” on an early day.
The Youth microfilm (short video) competition of Hebei Province with the theme of “Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era around us” in 2020 is an innovative approach which created by the Education Department of Hebei Province to further introduce Xi Jinping’s new socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics into teaching materials, classrooms and mental work. The Propaganda Department of the Party Committee and the Youth League Committee of our university organize conscientiously, and the leaders of the Art College attach importance to and encourage teachers and students to participate activelycreate elaborately, which condense the good stories around themselves into an art work in the form of microfilm (short video) that spread positive spirit and energy. It is reported that the Organizing Committee of the competition has received a total of 583 valid entries. After the evaluation by experts, a total of 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 4 third prizes, 9 excellent awards and 6 excellent instructor awards were selected.
