The Demonstration Base of International Cooperation in Gerontology Passed the Evaluation
Recently, the Ministry of Science and Technology issued a letter stating that our university’s “Geriatrics International Cooperation Demonstration Base” successfully passed the comprehensive performance evaluation of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Since being approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology as thedemonstration base for international cooperation in 2013, the university has collaborated with the Institute of Molecular Medicine and genetics of developmental neuroscience at Georgia School of Medicine at University of Augusta, the Center for research on organ fibrosis at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, the University of PEC in Hungary, the Hungarian National Institute of Acupuncture and Medicine, the Hungarian Oriental Medicine Company, the Yamagata University in Japan and other renowned foreign academic institutions in various forms. After nearly ten years of construction and development, the demonstration base of international cooperation in Gerontology has made great progress in scientific research, achievement transformation, academic exchange and personnel training, especially in the field of pulmonary fibrosis research, as well as “bridgehead” of traditional Chinese medicine entering Europe, which has promoted the effective docking of domestic innovation subjects, promoted the establishment of international cooperation channels in Hebei Province, supported and promoted regional economic and industrial development, and was unanimously recognized by evaluation experts in this performance evaluation.
